Government Advertising

I heard an ad on the radio sponsored by the USDA. It was a nicely produced voice of a senior lady trying to keep up with her grand children, she thanked the food stamp program for allowing her to buy vegtables. The Curmudgeon mobile almost went into the ditch!. Soliciting for welfare programs. No governmant agency should do ads like this. Time to call congress.....again.

Ivy League Colleges

Socialism, in general, has a record of failure that's so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it.

Wow, that says it all. We are influenced by people that are very smart, but lack common sense. Huge endowments and tenure work for them, and they want to extend this system to the rest of us. They forget it is the capotilists that left the colleges the money they spend, and whose they attack. Sad, they are so short sited.

GM Dealerships

GM was in a massive slump, gets taken over by BHO, and now driving around the northeast, i see many dealerships getting massive facelifts on their showrooms. We are talking big dollar projects. Is GM paying for this? They can't. I would bet these area all union jobs. Not a peep in the press about this. What press? I guess it is our job now to do their job of highlighting wasteful spending.
